BergaminiThis replaced (well, supplements, as I might need to carry 4 bikes sometime) a old 4 bike Thule non-folding bike rack that was a pain because I had to take it off to park the Honda Pilot in the garage. It will fit my road and mountain bike at the same time. I now leave it on all the time with an old Thule hitch lock on one side and the bolt that came with it on the other; if you use the lock washer that comes with it, the bolt doesn't tend to work loose. I have no negative comments but it would be improved by adding day-glo colorant to the plastic endcaps of the bike supports (so non-cyclists who don't pay attention don't walk into them by accident) and some sort of built in padding on the vertical to prevent chipping of the back hatch of the Pilot when need to open it but you don't want to lower the bikes (right now, I have several turns of electrical tape wrapped around the vertical, just I have ... » More Information about Thule 912XT Roadway Hanging Bike Hitch Rack.
